For Jessica & Paul
Using info@jessicabailey.co.uk with Outlook
Your website now sends every enquiry, booking, contact message and form to the alert address in Jessica Booking → Settings (currently info@jessicabailey.co.uk). This page explains how to read those emails in Outlook on your phone or PC.
What happens now
- Someone submits a form on the website.
- They receive their confirmation email (where applicable).
- You receive an alert email with subject lines like [Jessica Bailey website] New booking… or New contact message.
- A copy is also saved in WordPress admin under Jessica Booking.
Option A — Add hosting email to Outlook (quickest)
Your domain already has a mailbox on the website hosting (info@jessicabailey.co.uk). You can add it to the Outlook app without changing DNS.
- Ask your host (or Murat) for the mailbox password for info@jessicabailey.co.uk.
- On your phone: Outlook → Add account → Other / IMAP.
- Use these typical settings:
- Email: info@jessicabailey.co.uk
- Incoming (IMAP): mail.jessicabailey.co.uk — port 993 — SSL
- Outgoing (SMTP): mail.jessicabailey.co.uk — port 465 or 587 — SSL/TLS
- Username: full email address
- On PC: File → Add account and enter the same details.
Option B — Forward to your existing Outlook address
If you already live in a personal Outlook/Hotmail inbox and prefer not to check two accounts:
- In your hosting control panel (cPanel), set info@jessicabailey.co.uk to forward to the Outlook address you use every day.
- Leave Jessica Booking → Settings → Alert email as info@jessicabailey.co.uk (website alerts still go there, then forward to you).
Option C — Full Microsoft 365 (professional setup)
For the most reliable long-term setup, use Microsoft 365 so @jessicabailey.co.uk is a proper Outlook mailbox (not host email).
- Subscribe to Microsoft 365 Business Basic (or similar).
- Add domain jessicabailey.co.uk in the Microsoft admin centre.
- Microsoft will give you new MX records — Murat (or your host) updates DNS (this replaces the current hosting mail setup).
- Create mailbox info@jessicabailey.co.uk and sign in via Outlook app.
